Hangover Handicap

COEUR d’ALENE - For 38 years, Tesh Inc.’s “Hangover Handicap” has given Kootenai County residents the opportunity to get a jump start on their New Year’s resolution of getting more exercise while helping the community at the same time.

On Jan. 1 at 9:30 a.m., the Hangover Handicap will begin behind Michael D’s restaurant, located at 203 E. Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive. Runners, walkers, dogs on leashes and babies in strollers will then embark on scenic 5 mile round-trip course along Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Frances Huffman, Tesh CEO, said that although the weather is usually chilly during the run, it’s hardly noticeable because of the warmth generated from everyone involved. Keith Cousins, CdA Press
