Everett finally solves Spokane

They had come close this season, but the Everett Silvertips had never defeated the Spokane Chiefs. Everett pulled it off Saturday night by scoring during the final minute of overtime for a 5-4 victory over Spokane. Spokane had been 6-0 against the Silvertips, with three wins coming by one goal, including two in OT. Spokane returns home Wednesday. Read story
