Need alternative plan

I may have missed any broadcast or publication about an idea to relocate our major rail line through Spokane. Has this been considered? What is the estimated cost and construction time?

If railroads spread the cost of relocation to every rail car, what would be the figure? Let’s also factor in the savings that might be obtained in speed of freight, insurance, etc. Maybe a new line would be cheaper to operate than the existing one.

If Spokane, or any city of similar size, were to suffer a major oil train fire, what is an estimate of possible costs? Human lives and injury would be another terrible addition.

So, did I miss anything?
