I opened the day by having a get-acquainted coffee with Coeur d’Alene Superintendent of Schools Matt Handelman. Impressive fellow. I can see why he had the backing of both the old Coeur d’Alene School Board, which was chock full of uberconservatives, and the new one, which is more moderate. Our district is in good hands.
