Denney Touts Public Lands Grab

Idaho Rep. Lawerence Denney, R-Midvale, who is running for Idaho Secretary of State, called a Statehouse news conference today, where, joined by 10 backers, he announced that the Republican National Committee on Jan. 24 approved a resolution in support of “western states taking back public lands.” Denney said, “It’s great to have a national organization that is getting behind this effort.” He billed the announcement as “new development regarding the transfer of public lands.” The 10 GOP House members who joined him included Reps. Batt, Barrett, Boyle, Barbieri, Crane, Gestrin, Harris, Mendive, Monks and Palmer/Betsy Russell, Eye on Boise. More here.

Question: If Denney and UCNI/Rally Right backed Barbieri and Mendive are for this neo-Sagebrush Rebellion issue, I’m against. What say you?
