… That Public Services Director Terry Werner of Post Falls will announce soon for the House District 3 seat now held by Rep. Ron Mendive, R-Post Falls. Werner is a Republican and also a former Post Falls City Council member. Stay tuned. In the last week, John Chambers has announced for the House District 3 seat now held by Rep. Frank Henderson, who plans to retire at the end of the year and has endorsed Chambers. On Wednesday, Pat Whalen announced for the Senate District 3 seat now held by Sen. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d’Alene. No Democrat has announced for any of the District 3 races.
