Blogfest 2014 On Tap

In days gone by, both Cindy and Christa subbed for me during my all-too-infrequent vacations. Christa, however, has gone on to bigger and better things. She, of course, is now the Vice Chairman of the Coeur d’Alene School Board. So she can’t pinch-hit any more. Cindy still provides stellar back-up at HBO HQ. So here’s the deal this year. BBQer extraordinaire Bent is again providing the pulled pork. Owner Steve Widmeyer, who also has drifted into politics (I hear), is adding the side dishes. The Spokesman-Review has rented the venue and will cover the cost of everything but beer and wine. Anyone in good standing at Huckleberries Online (you’re not in the cooler or bad-mouthing us on other social media) is invited to come. The doors will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.

DFO: The Bard of Sherman Avenue sez s/he won’t be there this year. But s/he plans to provide the big reveal at Blogfest 2015.
