Still Shoveling Snow By Hand
In the Spokane Valley blog, Nina Culver offers a PSA in which she reminds Spokane Valley residents to clear their sidewalks: “Spokane Valley residents are being reminded that it’s their responsibility to shovel snow from sidewalks adjacent to their property. The city says local ordinances require that sidewalks be clear of snow and ice within a reasonable amount of time, and violators could face $500 fines.” I usually wait until there’s a break in the storm to clear my sidewalks and driveway. By hand. Most of my neighbors had snow blowers. I like the exercise — and I don’t have room in my garage to house a snow blower all spring, summer, fall & most of the winter.
Question: Am I the only one in this town who shovels snow by hand?
