According to my info earlier this week, Public Services Director Terry Werner of Post Falls may announce for the House District 3 seat now held by state Rep. Ron Mendive, R-Post Falls. If he does so, mainstream Republicans in the Post Falls area will field a group of candidates who should have strong business support. Pat Whalen for state Sen. Bob Nonini’s Senate seat and John Chambers for Frank Henderson’s house seat (with Frank’s endorsement). It’ll be interesting to watch Post Falls politics this spring. Now to replay your Wild Card …
