McMorris Rodgers misleads

I read Shawn Vestal’s article in the Jan. 31 Spokesman-Review on Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers glossing over the facts during her Republican response to President Obama’s State of the Union address.

I cannot agree more with Vestal. McMorris Rodgers either does not fact-check her remarks about the Affordable Care Act, or does not care that she is giving false information that has been proven wrong by factcheck.org. The ACA is not perfect, but it is a beginning, and has brought into place many good things protecting us and stabilizing our health benefits from insurance companies. The fact that McMorris Rodgers would construe these facts and the example she was giving in her response speech is misleading and reduces her credibility.

This is not the type of person we need as our representative to Congress from the 5th District; it is time to vote McMorris Rodgers out of office in November.
