Weekend Wild Card — 2.8-9.2014

We’ve reached that in-between time. The Super Bowl is over, and this year much of the Northwest continues to bask in the afterglow of the spectacle. The Winter Olympics has arrived to hold our attention until spring training, March Madness — or whatever else holds your fancy arrives. Blogfest is a week today, for followers of this online endeavor. And the politicians are beginning to make noises as they eye the various offices. I’m having coffee with a Secretary of State contender Monday morning. (And, as predicted her earlier this week, Terry Werner will be announcing today for the House District 3 seat now held by Rep. Ron Mendive, R-Post Falls, this afternoon.) So relax this weekend in preparation for another work week of hijacks that begins Monday. Here’s your Weekend Wild Card …
