GOP Lunch Topics: Wolves, Christians

Here’s the guest speakers for the dueling Republican luncheons Thursday:

  • Scott Rockholm of Save Western Wildlife will be the featured speaker at the regular weekly meeting of the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans at Fedora restaurant, 1726 W. Kathleen Ave., at noon Thursday. Rockhom is a documentary filmmaker and activist in the anti-wolf movement. His topic? “Wolf Introduction Was a Crime.”
  • At Bjorn Handeen’s GOPrecinct 52 luncheon (noon-1 p.m. Thursday at IHOP, 2301 N4th St., CdA), Precinct 12 Committeeman Bruce Maddux will speak on: “The Role of the Christian in a Representative Democracy.”
  • And: At Panhandle Pachyderm Club lunch Friday at Templin’s Red Lion Inn, 414 E. 1st Ave/Post Falls: Luke Kilcup, state chairman of the Idaho Federation of College Republicans, will speak.
