Compassion blown away

I sure would like to have a chat with William Rawley so that he could help explain why the “Tea Party is misunderstood (Feb. 15).” The words “God, guns and Bibles” really threw me for a confusing loop.

I’d like to know if Rawley thinks that God and his son, Jesus, would advocate using guns to solve problems. And maybe he just follows the Old Testament and forgets Jesus’ words about loving your neighbor as yourself.

Oh, and by the way, isn’t there a commandment that says, “Thou shalt not kill”? Yes, I guess that’s why I have trouble understanding the selfish attitudes of tea party followers who seem to have lost compassion along the way.
