ISP Ready To Nab Colorado Pot

In Colorado, people were waiting in line up to three hours to get into the nation’s first legal recreational pot shops New Year’s Day. It’s being called the modern world’s first fully legal marijuana industry, no doctor’s note required, and it’s being watched closely. Now that marijuana is being sold legally in Colorado, law enforcement in neighboring states is keeping an eye out in case any of the Colorado pot should cross their borders, and that includes the Idaho State Police. “One of our biggest concerns is that Idahoans who are travelling to states where it is legal, where they can get their hands on it, are going to have it with them and bring it back to Idaho,” said Trooper Andrew Nakashima with the Idaho State Police/ Scott Logan , KBOI. Question: I suppose the North Idaho officers are also ready to nab Washington pot. Do you think this will force Idaho and/or surrounding states to bring pot laws into compliance with Colorado and Washington?
