Business entrepreneur Brian Murray has formed a group and applied for growing and processing licenses to produce marijuana products, possibly in the former Costco store building at 922 E. Third Ave./Spokane. Murray served two years as a Republican state senator in 2003-2004. The number of applicants to grow and sell legal pot far exceeds the number the state of Washington will allow.
