Poll: Enforce May 2 McEuen Date

• Thursday Poll: A majority of Hucks Nation wants the city of Coeur d’Alene to enforce the May 2 deadline for completing work on the new McEuen Field. 74 of 147 respondents (50.34%) took that position. However, 40 of 147 respondents (27.21%) said they would be OK with a mid-May reopening, and 28 of 147 (19.05%) said they would be OK with a Memorial Day opening. Beyond that, only 3 respondents (2.04%) would approve of a possibly July 1 opening mentioned in a recent newspaper article, and 2 (1.36%) would approve a Labor Day reopening.
