The Matterhorn is one of the iconic attractions at Disneyland, which has expanded its lucrative VIP tours recently. The resort now offers a peek into founder Walt Disney’s apartment.

A friend is super excited about taking her two kids to Disneyland on Friday and was shocked when I told her I don’t think the Magic Kingdom is all that magical.

It could be that my first visit at age 4, soured me. I got sick on the tea cup ride and barfed in the geraniums. I still loathe geraniums.
