Wild Card/Tuesday — 1.21.14

My wife & I spent last week hosting our son (Coeur d’Alene High class of 1997) for an unexpected but totally enjoyable visit. Each day featured a stop at a different eatery — Moon Time, Bardenay, Fort Ground Grill, Hayden Capones, Canton & coffee shops. That, and walks downtown & along the waterways. We made it out to Higgens Point for a flyover by the lone eagle still hanging out there. Junior was hoping for some colder weather to get a taste of his native state. But was okay that the temperatures were much like those he’d left in Florida. All in all, a fine time was had by all. Cindy’s quality substitution, per usual, allowed me to focus on Junior rather than spend time watching what was happening here. Now, I’m back and rejuvenated. Only 4 weeks of vacation to go this year ;-) Here’s your Wild Card …
