Democrats To Roast Kennedy

Seems a fellow named Mike Kennedy is going to be the subject of a roast to help raise funds for the Kootenai County Democratic Party. The roast is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the home of Dave and Roberta Larsen, 2530 H95/Coeur d’Alene. On his Facebook page, Mr. Kennedy posts: ” In a testimony to how charming and lovely I really can be, in a moment of weakness I unwisely allowed myself to be turned into a pinata of rude (and mostly true) stories and comments for one night in service of raising money for crass politicians (of which I am no longer one, of course). David and Roberta Larsen ‘s home in Coeur d’Alene is one of the most gorgeous places to spend an evening, so please join us. Roasters are being assembled, and there will be no recording devices allowed so as to protect the guilty. ”
