How do you wake up?

With the boys home from school for the summer, my cats are NOT happy about their delayed feeding schedule— nobody around here is up at 6 AM anymore.

Thor has taken to perching on the very narrow edge of my headboard and staring at me until I wake up. Usually I’m already awake because he uses my back as a jumping off point.

How do you wake up in the morning? Alarm clock, kids, pets, spouse, sunshine or other?
