Weak men, big guns

I endure Michael Ramirez cartoons, because I value the First Amendment.

The June 2 offering showed a scrawny looking president with some caption about being weak on foreign policy. If Ramirez had his way, we’d have troops in Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, and who knows where else.

I, for one, am very glad that we finally have a president who understands that peace is an option; not just an option, but the preferable choice. It may not be good for the business of war, but as President Obama said to the West Point graduates, “Just because you’ve got the best hammer doesn’t mean every problem is a nail.”

Weak men need big guns, and I’ll bet Ramirez has a closet full.
