Shock out of tune since Meyer injury

Spokane continues to struggle without quarterback Erik Meyer, who suffered a broken collarbone against L.A. last month.

Most figured Spokane’s production would drop but its scoring average has slipped nearly 20 points per game. The defense has played  well the last five games but it hasn’t been enough to overcome an offense that scored between 28 and 41 points in four of those games.

There’s no timetable set on Meyer’s return but the 2013 AFL MVP amped up his cardio work Tuesday while his teammates were practicing nearby.
