Not all soldiers Christian
There was a most interesting cartoon in the June 6 paper. It had an important message about those who gave their lives. It had another interesting message, though.
The cemetery depicted showed crosses on all of the graves. The apparent message was that only Christian G.I.s died in World War II. Really? Were there really no Jews, no Muslims, no Buddhists, no atheists, etc.?
Perhaps someone should tell cartoonist Jim Morin that this is America, we are all Americans, and we do die for our country.
