Beaches
During my recent vacay, I enjoyed 2-plus days of beaches at Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast. And I visited Laguna Beach and Dana Point in southern California. I was surprised to see how small Laguna Beach was — mebbe one-third of the Oregon Coast beaches. It was crowded with people and seaweed on the day we visited (and overcast, to boot). Dana Point offered another small beach, along with tall ship replicas and some sheltered swim areas. We missed visiting Huntington Beach in the Costa Mesa area. All in all, I got some nice sun and a tan that began to fade with the overcast skies midway through Oregon on the trip back.
Question: Which West Coast beach is your favorite?
