Enjoy conservative letters

It was refreshing for me to see the five good conservative letters to the editor in the Feb. 22 Spokesman-Review, and I certainly do agree with them 100 percent. It seems to me that lately the conservative letters have been in short supply.

When we moved here from the west side of the state 12 years ago, it was because that side of the state was too radically left-wing for our liking, and the east side of the state was more conservative, as well as The Spokesman-Review.

It now appears to me that the S-R has somewhat changed direction and has become more like the Seattle papers. I never had the stomach to subscribe to either of them, and I actually considered canceling my subscription to the S-R.

I really enjoy reading the letters to the editor, especially the conservative ones, so I plan on keeping my subscription, at least for now. Thanking you for your consideration.
