Dusten Nohrman, 18, of Spokane descends from a position under the Monroe Street Bridge where he was taking cell phone pictures of the Spokane River runoff at the Lower Falls in downtown Spokane today. Nohrman emailed the photographs to his girlfriend in Federal Way, Wash., telling her, his viewing the river made him think of her. He said the river is beautiful, spectacular and on of God’s creations. He added, like the river, she could be calm or torrid. (SR photo: Dan Pelle)
