On her Facebook wall, Councilwoman KerriT posts: ” Back in the day when Jeannie Carter-Peugh and I ran the weekly Post Falls Tribune we paid a $1 bounty to whomever brought in the first buttercup of the season. Took their photo to run in the newspaper. Sure miss the simplicity of our weekly newspaper. I found this lone buttercup at Falls Park this afternoon. Hey Jeannie, do I get a buck?
