Voting Against Tea Party/Ronulans

On his Facebook wall, Joel Kennedy posts: “As a newly-affiliated Idaho Republican, I pledge to vote for the opponent of any candidate who expresses nullificationist/secessionist tendencies, or has voted or plans to vote to plunge the country into a recession and default of choice. Basically, if you want my vote, just show that you’re a reasonable Republican, and not a TEA Partier/Ronulan.”

Question: Do you think Joel has developed a good strategy for Clothespin Republicans, to separate the sheep from the goats in the GOPrimary elections?
