Spencer Files As Dem For Assessor

Uberconservative gadfly Larry Spencer of Hayden filed candidacy papers this afternoon to run as a Democrat against incumbent Republican Mike McDowell of Coeur d’Alene. McDowell will also face a primary challenge from Patrick Galles of Post Falls. In other Kootenai County Courthouse filings today, Republican County Commissioner Jai Nelson filed for another term.
