Another world
Well, it looks like reader Steve Barber (March 12) has brought us full circle in complaints about how African-Americans are depicted on TV.
His complaint? The commercials show happy, successful, middle-class black people – when many African-Americans are either underemployed or unemployed.
What parallel universe is Barber in? What he seems to want is commercials and sitcoms run as documentaries.
Enough already.
