Time for her to move

On April 16th, The Spokesman-Review reported that Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers has raised 12 times more money than her Democratic challenger, Joe Pakootas. It is common for incumbents to raise more money in these races.

It is troubling to me that much of her $363,324 war chest comes from tech giants like Facebook, Hewlett-Packard and Google. Political action committees for telecommunications companies Comcast and Verizon Wireless also contributed.

The same day I read this, I received another letter from her indicating why I am wrong regarding unemployment benefits extensions, and the Republicans are right not to help those in need.

We have veterans, college graduates and many others who cannot find employment and need help. But according to McMorris Rodgers, Congress should focus on reforming the tax code, end wasteful spending and pass an American energy strategy. Really.

McMorris Rodgers is out of touch with her constituents and more in line with California corporations. Perhaps she should move.
