DOTC: Limit The Other Guy’s Term

Dan of the Community (RE: Otter rips closed-primary system ): This reminds me a bit of the whole term limits issue. It was sold as the greatest thing since sliced bread and kinda like that old Wonder Bread, it would build strong political bodies 12 ways to Sunday. Except that once it actually got implemented and the clock starting ticking…all of a sudden it didn’t look so great after all…”I wanted that other schmuck to be term-limited but not a great statesman like myself”… That old saying is proven true again. Careful what you ask for if you aren’t prepared to accept the answer.

Question: Why do you suppose we don’t hear much about term limits any more?
