Veterans deserved better

After everything 40 proud soldiers did for us and our country, their lives may have been unfairly taken. In a Phoenix Veterans Administration Hospital, a ghastly scheme was the alleged culprit for these lost lives.

Veterans had come to seek help at this hospital and were reportedly put onto a lengthy waiting list. These patients were forced to wait months before having their needs seen to, and in the process of waiting they perished, according to the allegations. This wait list was kept hidden, sources told the media, and if the hospital did not schedule an appointment within 14 days after being put onto the list, the patients would basically never be seen.

If true, it is completely outrageous to think that the men and women who serve us were treated this way. They have done more than enough for us, and they were repaid this way. This scandal to apparently save money is completely repugnant. These dauntless people were there when our country needed them. Where were we when they needed us?
