No Shave, Ladies?

A female Facebook Friend is advocating that women join the men in raising cancer awareness in November by not shaving either. November is No Shave Month. The thinking behind the event is for men to grown beards and mustaches because those undergoing cancer treatment lose their hair. You can read the mission statement at the No Shave November site here. I already have a mustache. And I don’t intend to grow a beard. A year ago, I shaved my head to the nubs in honor of a loved one who was going through intense cancer treatment. Anyone who has suffered this curse, either directly or through the illness of a loved one or friend, is quite aware of cancer. However, let’s return to the theme here:
