One Of Those Mornings

The morning started fine, with a trip to the Coeur d’Alene Assembly of God Church to cast a ballot. 2 precincts were voting at the church this time (50 & 52), and my line was the short one. I figured I’d caught a break — and then cast a quick vote, hesitating only on the retention of judges. How do I know whether the three listed are doing a good job or not? I ended up voting for them. Unopposed Christi Wood and Ken Howard for NIC trustee re-election, too. After the vote, it was downhill. I got to work a little late, only to discover that our computer system was acting up, running slowly or not running at all. My 2nd post of the day (beyond the political cartoon that launches the morning) didn’t happen until 8:30. As I was making that second post, I accidentally knocked my coffee cup over, spilling my first shot of caffeine all over my desk. Then more computer problems. Oh well, my Fantasy Teams won in both leagues — and today’s Election Day, the Super Bowl of the political process. Which means I’ll be keeping you company until we shut things down tomorrow morning.
