Quarantine politicians

Isn’t it amazing that those who preach freedom from government control are among the most controlling? I think about the nurse who put her life on the line to help fellow human beings against Ebola in Africa and was treated like a criminal by a Republican governor when she returned from overseas. Her rights were violated. It is my opinion that the governor of New Jersey should be quarantined from humanity.

I’m a retired nurse and worked almost 40 years in nursing. I have worked many times in isolation situations with patients having severe drug-resistant infections. Many of those patients are alive today because other medical staff and myself chose to provide care. Gov. Chris Christie’s actions are so small-minded and characteristic of most self-serving Republicans, especially tea party Republicans.

I would like to see them do the same thing to a male physician returning from the affected areas in Africa.
