The Cellar In CdA Changes Hands

Patricia and Tom Power, owners of The Cellar in Coeur d’Alene, have sold their longtime North Idaho business to area chef Adam Hegstad. The popular restaurant and wine bar has been in business in downtown Coeur d’Alene for more than 20 years, at 317 Sherman Ave. The couple announced they wished to retire from the restaurant business. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Hegstad has had extensive experience opening and running successful restaurants. Those include Brix Restaurant in Coeur d’Alene, and currently The Wandering Table, in Kendall Yards. He was also executive chef at the Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley.
