Time To Tweak Hucks?
There are two seasons of the blogging year that I dread — much of summer when we’re out and about enjoying the sun for a few, too brief months. And the period between the November election and the start of the Legislature. For some reason, I don’t get excited
about the changing of the deck chairs among the Republican legislative leaders during this period. I don’t care who presides over the annual train wreck that is the Idaho Legislature. If truth be told, Idaho politics has been anti-climatic since the GOPrimary. After all, we picked the winners then, didn’t we. Everything since, apparently, has been so much white noise. Since I started this blog on Feb. 16, 2004, I’ve worked from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. I’ve reined that in to 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. So what do you think? The politics that stir Huckleberries will be back in six weeks or so. And then we’ll have fun dealing with the Coeur d’Alene School Board an City Council races. Until then …
