Tri-Cities Couple Applauds CPD

In appreciation, a Tri-Cities couple wrote a letter applauding the Coeur d’Alene Police Department for its handling of a hit-and-run case: “In August, we were in CDA for a week’s vacation. On our second day there, August 10th, we were involved in a hit-and-run accident while parked on the side of the road. Officer Haug responded to our call, and, with the aide of a witness and Officer Mortensen, was soon able to apprehend the other driver. We were contacted by Officer Haug right away to let us know that they had her in custody. Sgt. TenEyke had also been in contact with us, at that time, regarding our report.” More here, via CPD Facebook .
