The real predators

Regarding Keith Cress’ letter to the editor (“Wolf program mismanaged” – Nov. 8):

Maybe you should do a bit of research on the number of game animals taken down by illegal hunting and people who kill and leave the animal to rot. Let’s not forget the deer, elk, etc., killed in traffic.

Compare those numbers against animals brought down by major predators. The two-legged kind do much more damage, not just to game animals, but to the planet itself.
