Bipartisan effort

We cannot afford to lose Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers in Congress. She has time and again stood up and fought for our interests to make our community a better place to live. This is evident in her bipartisan bill, the Hydropower Regulatory Efficiency Act, which passed unanimously last year and was signed into law by President Obama.

Washington state relies on hydropower for approximately 75 percent of its electricity. Until McMorris Rodgers, small hydro projects were forced into regulations meant for giant dams like Grand Coulee. Her bill is going to create 70,000 jobs across the country and a lot of American-made energy.

Thank you, Cathy, for a clean, green bipartisan America!
