Spiders

I’m the go-to person in my house when it comes to dispatching spiders. Yeah, we sprayed around the outside of the place. But they still get in. I’ve dispatched 3 so far. I hear a mini-scream from Mrs. O, which is my cue to get a rolled up newspaper and execute the unfortunate arachnid that decided to go toward the light (rather than hide in its dark corner or crack. I’ve been bitten once by a spider (in the garden while listening on the radio to the late Dave Niehaus of the Seattle Mariners talk about the 19th Century Cleveland Spiders, believe it or not). Spiders don’t give me the creeps, unless I’m in the garage lifting weights — and one of the fast ones makes a dart for me. How about you? (SR file photo: Garden spider)

Question: Who takes care of the spiders in your house at this point in the fall, when they move toward the house?
