Lillian Rhea, Sarah Daman and Rachael Arthur, sophomores at Lakeside High School in Plummer, prepare their tubes for a mixture of lip balm they created from a honey base during the annual Careers for Women in Math and Science event at North Idaho College. The annual event is a partnership between NIC, the University of Idaho, and Region 1 high schools to help 10th grade girls with an interest in math and science learn more about career opportunities in those fields.
