Must be election time

The Sept. 28 cartoon showing Uncle Sam serving the Middle East potentate speaks more truth than is evident at first glance.

If you Google “Janissaries” you will find interesting historical sites about European children periodically rounded up and trained to serve as military personnel serving the sultans in Istanbul. There is nothing new under the sun.

Recent workplace violence incidents are pretty clear to the average American. You have to be social engineers in the Pentagon or the Justice Department to assume there isn’t a common denominator. Obvious obscurity and political correctness are running rampant.

In the meantime, we can count on the IRS and their indefatigable investigations of those evil tea party members. Lois Lerner is enjoying her $100,000 yearly retirement as a public servant. The Benghazi blunders and Fast and Furious are coming to light. It’s a good thing our borders are more secure than they’ve ever been. No problems there.

Now we get to listen to the chattering of the “War on Women” chant. It must be time for elections.
