One For Me

From SR buddy Colin Mulvany’s Facebook page: “Day three of my personal creative challenge to find and shoot a totally unrelated image while at a photo assignment for my newspaper. I call my project ‘One for me.’ Today’s image is from an assignment about a woman’s fight with the county assessor over property taxes. As the reporter, subject and I were walking through her rural property, we came upon a group of whitetail deer. This one just stared at me as the other’s ran off. I stared back with my camera. Nikon D4 300mm f/4 lens.”

DFO: I saw the coolest site while driving to church in Hayden last Sunday — a doe in a Dalton Gardens driveway nursing two fawns. I’m sure the Dalton Gardens residents wouldn’t be as appreciative as I was at the sight (as a result of their problems with urban deer). But I considered the scene to be a terrific one provided by the wildlife around us.
