Wild Card/Monday — 10.13.14

I’d like to add my belated kudos to the Lake City Playhouse, for the superb production of “Les Mis” on its smallish stage. Mrs. O and I saw the production Saturday evening. We were blown away by the superb performances by J.R. Haynie (Jean Valjean) and Javert (Daniel Bell) as well as the rest of the cast. Not only is Haynie a big new local talent but he handles oral surgery in town , too. I wonder what it would be like to have a dentist/oral surgeon who could knock ‘em dead with a version of “Bring Him Home”? Standing O from a packed house Saturday night. Here’s your Wild Card …

P.S., For all you Seattle Seahawk fans out there … please stay away from high ledges and sharp objects today ;-)
