Kootenai To Issue Same-Sex Licenses

Kootenai County Clerk Jim Brannon just sent this email to Huckleberries Online: “We now have a ruling from our prosecutor which references an email sent by the Office of the Idaho Attorney General which states that absent an order staying the 9 ^th Circuit’s decision beyond the 15 ^th at 9:00AM PDT, this decision is binding and in effect.  The Recorder’s office opens tomorrow at 9:00AM and will be issuing same sex licenses to be in compliance with the order of the 9th Circuit Court.”
