Man Faces Battery By Burrito Charge
A 52-year-old Coeur d’Alene man was arrested on a battery charge Sunday after throwing a burrito at an employee of Harmony House Assisted Living. According to a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office incident report, Travis Micho was asked a question by an employee at Harmony House on Sunday evening. Micho, according to the report, responded with derogatory remarks toward the employee. The employee told Micho that his behavior meant she would have to write him up, which upset the man further. “He grabbed his burrito from his dinner plate and threw it at (her) as she was standing across the table from him,” the report states. “Several pieces of the burrito struck (her), and the rest of it was on the wall.” According to the report, Micho has been on a “zero tolerance” program at Harmony House because of past issues/ Coeur d’Alene Press .
