UW is too late
The University of Washington’s subtle hints and not-so-subtle pronouncements managed to lure potential second-year medical students to leave Spokane for Seattle this year. Then when it became apparent that WSU was serious about medical training, UW came up with a last-minute plan to expand its presence in underserved Spokane.
UW came too late to the dance and should not be rewarded with an enhanced distance learning center.
