Vote for Baumgartner

It is too bad columnist Shawn Vestal can’t get his facts straight. Liberal California zillionaire Tom Steyer has given Gov. Jay Inslee and the Washington state Democrats the first of the multiple millions he promised to be used to buy Washington state for the Democrats this election.

He has promised “as much as it takes” to buy Spokane 6th District seat for Rich Cowan. No telling how much the Washington Education Association is putting to defeating Michael Baumgartner. Much of the WEA funds are coming from non-Democrat teachers who are forced to give to the political agenda of the WEA leadership, whether they like it or not.

Who knows what the Service Employees International Union is dumping in Cowan’s election to defeat Baumgartner. Why are they attacking Baumgartner? Because he has the audacity to talk to the Democrats across the aisle to work for what is best for all of Washington, rather than the protected few. He is demanding reforms and accountability in both the WEA and the government unions before they get any more benefits.

If you want a state income tax, to pay over $4 a gallon for gas and no accountability for the WEA/SEIU, vote for Cowan. If you want a stable business climate, more jobs, accountability from government unions and bipartisanship, vote for Mike Baumgartner.
